Jerome Arizona Ghost Town Tour

The former boomtown of Jerome Arizona is now a famous haunted ghost town where people come from all across the state and even across the world to explore. The old Phelps Dodge city was a former mining boomtown that used to extract millions of tons of Copper Ore after World War 1. The town suffered a major setback during the Great Depression and never rebounded. With that being said the tourism industry in Jerome is picking up and has become one of the main attractions in the Verde Valley of Arizona.

The Jerome Grand Hotel is considered haunted since it was the old hospital. People have reported seeing orbs of white light and other paranormal activity at the hotel.

Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren.
